Great win for Beckley over Greenbrier East. The defense was tremendous as it swarmed Greenbrier East and led to easy offense. That might be the best we have looked in a long time defensively. Great teamwork with several nice passes on offense.
Beckley has a tough game on Tuesday against George Washington. Chase Smith is one heck of a player and he has a couple of other good guards around him. Matt Johnson and a sophomore I think Miller is his name. We just have to show up and play like we did against Greenbrier East. I don't think we played very good defense early in the season against George Washington. Smith scored over 30. Hopefully we will keep playing the way we have been playing with great defense that leads to easy offense, rebounding, and playing smart.
