Beckley's starters didn't even play half of this game. To say Princeton is struggling right now is an understatement.
I didn't think Beckley played all that great though. Good move by Coach Kidd to take the starters out 2 minutes into the game because they didn't seem to have any intensity. We continue to have too many turnovers. That will eventually hurt us against a good team if we don't start taking care of the basketball. 24 three point attempts also seems a like a few too many.
Ripley will be tough on Wednesday. They are very dangerous. Beckley had to comeback at the end to beat them the first time. A win against Ripley will mean a trip to the MSAC championship game against South Charleston. A loss will mean a trip to the consolation game.
All I can say is Beckley better come out playing with intensity and playing defense and keep that up for the entire game against Ripley. They will light you up from three if you let them. If Beckley does get up on them they have to keep the intensity up and put them away or Ripley will shoot themselves right back in the game. Beckley has to play a full 32 minutes of good hard basketball against them.
